Dudley's Children in Care Council
Dudley’s Children in Care Council (CiCC) is called Make A Difference (MAD) and is a group of young people aged 11+ years that have experience of being looked after.
We come from different backgrounds including foster care, residential care, independent and local authority and disability services. We have our say on issues that matter to us, and can make sure that we are heard by the people that make decisions.
We meet regularly to discuss issues important to young people who are in care in our borough. CiCC is supported by staff from Dudley Council who help the group to work together.
Dudley’s Children in Care Council want to hear from you!
By sharing, talking and listening to each other we will be able understand common issues and concerns being in care in Dudley can bring. Together we can work with the decision makers such as elected members, directors and heads of service to share these issues and find possible solutions together.
